Progressive Computer Systems Sdn. Bhd., in collaboration with industry experts, successfully conducted the Structural Bridge Design (SBD) Training on 15 October 2025 at Armada Hotel, Petaling Jaya. The venue’s modern and comfortable facilities provided an ideal environment for an engaging and productive learning experience.
Structural Bridge Design (SBD), part of the Autodesk AEC Collection, is a powerful and comprehensive tool designed for engineers involved in the analysis and design of bridge structures. Capable of handling nearly 95% of bridge types encountered in real-world projects, SBD streamlines complex calculations, analysis, and reporting — ensuring efficient, accurate, and reliable bridge designs from concept to completion.
The session was led by Ir. Patrick Augustin, Director of Perunding Faisal, Abraham & Augustin Sdn. Bhd., a highly respected Professional and Chartered Engineer with extensive experience in bridge design and construction. With academic credentials from Lancaster University and Imperial College London, and as a Fellow of IEM, ICE, and IStructE, Ir. Patrick shared his deep technical expertise and practical insights, making the session both informative and inspiring.
Participants were highly engaged and focused throughout the training. Ir. Patrick’s clear explanations and structured approach made complex concepts easy to understand, ensuring that every participant was able to follow along confidently.
