SketchUp Unlocked: Talk Design — Discover More. Design Beyond.

Progressive Computer Systems Sdn Bhd (PCSSB) successfully hosted SketchUp Unlocked: Talk Design on 29 September 2026 at Idea Zone @ Imazium, Damansara Utama, bringing together design professionals and SketchUp users for an engaging afternoon of inspiration, knowledge sharing, and hands-on insights into the possibilities of SketchUp.

The session was led by Encik Shukry Sharby, Architectural & Interior Designer, who took participants beyond the familiar features of SketchUp to explore what the software is truly capable of. From creative design exploration to practical modelling techniques and workflow enhancements, the session highlighted how SketchUp offers far more than many users initially realise.

One of the highlights was discovering features and capabilities that participants had never explored or even knew existed. Through real-world project examples, the speaker demonstrated how SketchUp can support different stages of the design process, helping users bring ideas to life, communicate concepts more effectively, and work smarter.

The excitement continued with a live demonstration, where participants could see these capabilities in action and gain a clearer understanding of how the techniques could be applied to their own projects. The session sparked plenty of curiosity, with attendees actively asking questions, seeking clarification, and exploring different ways to get more out of SketchUp. The lively Q&A reflected a strong interest in expanding their skills and discovering new possibilities beyond their usual workflows.

To wrap up the afternoon on a high note, participants joined a lucky draw session, adding an extra touch of excitement to an already engaging event. It was a great opportunity for everyone to connect, exchange ideas, and walk away with fresh inspiration for their next design project.
